§ 2.40.080. Early retirement.

  • On written application to the Retirement Board and with its consent, a member who has attained the age of sixty (60) years and has completed ten (10) years of credited service may elect to retire as of the first day of any calendar month, which shall not be less than thirty (30) days nor more than ninety (90) days after filing of the application with the Retirement Board. The action of the Retirement Board in granting or denying such an application shall be nondiscriminatory.
