§ 2.40.300. Death of a member before normal retirement date.

In the event that a member of the Plan dies prior to his or her normal retirement date, there shall be paid to the beneficiary designated by him or her, if said beneficiary is living, otherwise to his or her estate, the amount of the member's contribution plus earnings thereon, together with the amount of the City's contribution plus its earnings.
